the point to enable him to win the New York State High School State Championship in 1962. From there he was given
a golf scholarship to Florida State University which he attended for three years. He served in the United States
Armed Forces from 1965 to 1967 where he captured two Alaskan State Amateur Titles defeating polar bears and Eskimos.

continued playing until the mid 1980’s on the PGA tour until he decided teaching
was
the avenue he wished to pursue. He became part of the teaching staff at
Eagle
Ridge Inn and Resort in Galena, Illinois where he taught hundreds of students
in
private group lessons and one on one sessions. He was instrumental in helping to
form the Eagle Ridge Golf Academy where he also taught exclusively in the school
for
five years. Upon reaching the age of 50 years old he played numerous events
on the
Senior PGATour now known as the Champions Tour.

of the Enjoie Golf Club.
Because of his dedication to golf, Richie has opened his golf school to pass the enjoyment
of golf in a less stressful environment.
Richie has given golf lessons to hundreds of players and club professionals. The real strength of the
academy lies in the development of the golf school for each player. With the proven golf school concepts,
all ability levels have shown unparalled improvement. The real benefit of the golf schools proximity to
New York City, Canada, Syracuse, and Scranton is the student’s accessibility to follow-up with individual
golf lessons.
The highly trained staff enhances the student’s improvement through the application of a unified concept
competent at assessing a student’s problems.
